Having engagement photos done is a must for so many reasons. Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times of your life. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you’ll cherish for the rest of your days. You’ll want to remember that cloud nine feeling, even if it is accompanied by the stress that comes with wedding planning. And with all of the hustle and bustle that is planning a wedding, this season of your life is sure to fly right past you. By the blink of an eye it’s over and boom you’re married. Just like that.
Having engagement photos done is a great way to honor this season of life in a way that allows you to hold onto the memories that come with it forever. Engagement photos also allow you the opportunity to show your future kiddos and family members. There are countless benefits to engagement photos which you can read more about by clicking here! But, for this post, I’m going to focus on how to get the most out of your engagement photos.
Because, after investing in them, you’ll want to use them to their fullest potential. So, let’s dive in. Here are 5 of the ways you can use your engagement photos!
01. Invitations and Save the Dates
First things first, you can use them for invitations and save the dates! While they are typically gorgeous without photos added to them, doing so just adds that extra personal touch. It also will be much appreciated by your family to have that sweet photo of you to hang onto and display in their home.
02. Guest Book
Next up, your guest book. A guest book is great to have on display at your reception so all of your guests can leave a little letter for you, wishing you the best and congratulating you. Adding your engagement photos sprinkled throughout makes it all the more fun for your guests to look at and use.
03. Holiday Cards
Save them for your Christmas or holiday cards! They don’t have to be used just exclusively for wedding purposes!
04. In Your Home
Of course, you can also hang them on the walls in your home. This is a great way to serve as a sweet reminder of your impending wedding and the love that you and your partner have. It’s also a great way to make your house feel homier if you don’t already have photos of yourself on display.
05. Wedding Website
Last but certainly not least, we have your wedding website! A wedding website is a perfect thing to create for guests with extra information about your big day, a link to your registry, and a place to RSVP. Sprinkling in some of your engagement photos will, again, add that nice little personal touch!
