Alison and John’s Scenic Place Peonies elopement took place with their daughter Opal, Alison’s best friend, and John’s father. The ceremony overlooked the beautiful Kachemak Bay in Homer Alaska. Beth and Kurt with Scenic Place peonies built the homemade Alder arch with Kelly who is known for her lush garden-style designs highlighting season and sense of place.
Scenic Place Peonies is located on the scenic East Hill side of Homer. It overlooks beautiful Kachemak Bay and grows 14 different cultivars of peonies for the cut flower market. The location was perfect. In the end, it was such an incredibly stunning location for the intimacy and beauty that was their elopement. I always love being able to capture elopements, they always feel a little extra special and romantic.
